Start your gardening journey – Spring Workshop

In this full-day comprehensive workshop you will learn the basics of how to design, plant and maintain a garden that will be abundant and full of all the things you love.

Through this workshop you will learn:
– The best place to create your vegetable garden
– How to make a new garden bed, with different techniques
– The basics of soil biology and the fundamentals to healthy soil
– How to plant seeds and transplant them to you garden
– Companion planting, crop rotation and pest control

Held at the home of Crafty Gatherer in the Papamoa Hills, with a beautiful lunch included. Taught by Tess – who has over 10 years gardening experience and loves sharing knowledge to help other people to enjoy the joys and connection of gardening.

Waste Free Parenting with Kate Meads – Tauranga

Did you know… That each baby goes through approximately 5500 nappy changes throughout their childhood? That’s a lot of single-use items being thrown out across New Zealand!

Attend my longest-running and most popular workshop to become inspired and entertained about ways you can minimize waste in your home whilst babies are around!

At the workshop you will learn about lots of exciting ways you can reduce waste at home, be introduced to modern waste minimising household products, find out how you can save money, and learn about what impact your choices will have on future generations.

The club is called the Royal Palm Beach Yacht Club and you can go sailing – from dry land !

Sailing Electron and similar 3 foot long yachts is great fun. Go along and watch their manoeuvres.  You might want to join them !
