Let’s learn

Learning does not stop with school and adulthood.

Learning continues throughout our lives in a huge variety of ways, places and roles – informally, as a member of a group or a weekly class, on a marae or in a workplace, as a mentor, tutor, guide or volunteer – or as a student or teacher in a formal education setting.

Wherever the learning takes place, whatever the subject or type of learning, what is important is the opening of minds, the interaction, the pathways to greater fulfilment and to success that are created.

Great educators and supportive learning organisations also assist in this success.

Let’s Learn, Community Education Bay of Plenty was created out of the former Adult Community Education, Western Bay of Plenty, in 2016.

With a new committee, the group created a Vision :

“People have endless opportunities to learn, grow, develop and connect in the Bay of Plenty.”

And a Mission:

“To provide a hub that supports our local learning community”

Let’s Learn endeavours to support community based Tutors and students with specific activities and Events :  Taster EveningsNetworking at Expos, Free Courses and Open Days, Marketing Opportunities for Tutors, and keeps things current with Facebook updates.

Let’s Learn is a Not for Profit Organisation, and is working towards Charitable Trust status to enhance support and opportunities for Tutors and Adult Students alike.
