Pain Free Gardening

It makes sense that if you want to garden comfortably for the long term, it is worthwhile to understand and use correct skeletal support working with spades, shovels, wheelbarrows, getting up and down from the ground, lifting stones, and other common gardening activities.

In this afternoon workshop, we will look at how underlying and habitual body movements effect your garden activities. By changing any poor, unconscious, everyday movement patterns, you will be able to look forward to years of pain free gardening.

This afternoon workshop will be taught by Gisella Warmenhoven who is both a trained landscaper and a practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method and Alexander Technique.

Details: Tea and coffee are provided, wear garden shoes and dress for being outside.  If weather is too wet or awful, you will receive an email on Friday the 16th.  Our rain-off day is Sunday 18 March.
