Self-Management Wellness Courses

Did you know you can join a FREE five week self managment education programme in the Western Bay of Plenty for those newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, or for those just starting on insulin?

The Western Bay of Plenty Primary Health Organisation (WBOP PHO) based at the Health and Wellness Services
(154 First Ave West, off Glasgow Street, Tauranga)  provides FREE education courses for people with diabetes at its base, or off site.

Presenters include:

Diabetes Nurse Specialists
Dietitian
Foot Mechanics
Medwise
Sport Bay of Plenty
Diabetes Help Tauranga

You will learn how to self-manage your diabetes, enabling you to make healthy choices and remain well in the community.

The courses run for 2 hours a week over 5 weeks and are held in a variety of locations.

Both day and night sessions are available
